How Do I Get Rid of Acne Fast?

Many people resort to Google for finding any sort of remedy to treat acne; whether there is an important event the following day or you just don’t love having a pimple on your face, because who really does? It’s hard to find the perfect solution, but we want to help.

What is the Cause?

Acne comes down to just a couple of causes. 1. Bacteria or 2. Hormonal Imbalances. There are many other subcategories that could be causing your breakout. These might include environmental factors, diet or food allergies, or even stress. You may be surprised what tools and products can help solve your acne issues, whether they be minor or a constant concern.

Microcurrent Can Be Your Solution.

Microcurrent therapy is most known as an anti-aging solution but can also be used for acne. It helps to reduce bacteria topically and internally. Oxygen is increasing in your skin through microcurrent treatments which makes it challenging for bacteria to survive. Lymphatic drainage is also performed with microcurrent to help rid your body of toxins and ultimately heal faster. This specific treatment can also prevent and improve acne scarring. Especially when combine with LED Light Therapy. By visiting a professional, like Teresa, who uses either probes, cotton tip or special silver and bacterial gloves will be most beneficial in treatments.

Several acne microcurrent waveforms can be added into most of your facial treatments at Anika Skincare. The number of sessions will depend on our client’s age and skin condition. These facial treatments are immediate and improve with consistent maintenance.  Prior to getting microcurrent treatment, it is important to remember to avoid using Retinol products a few days before your appointment and do not use any chemical peels. We begin by making sure your skin is clean and all of your makeup and creams are removed, and your skin is exfoliated to remove all dead skin cells.

These facial treatments are best used with either salicylic acid or glycolic acid for your at home skincare routine.  Salicylic acid will increase the moisture in the skin, making it easier to shed dead skin cells, breaking down sebum in your pores as well.  Glycolic acid removes the first layer of dead skin cells, making your face brighter and fresher. It is a misconception that drying out your skin will rid your acne. Your face will then create more oil, and this creates bacteria. Microcurrent can infuse a water-based serum deeply into the skin to keep it more hydrated. And, again will kill the bacteria with anti -bacterial silver gloves. And, assist your body to get rid of unwanted fluids and toxins with Lymphatic drainage, and speed up acne clearing.
